In 1Chr 9:12 he is named as the son of Jahzerah, while in Neh 11:13 he is named as the son of Ahasai: probably Jahzerah's name is left out of the genealogy in Neh 11:13 and Meshullam was called by the name of Ahasai, therefore Adiel(Azareel) was called the son of Ahasai, who was in fact his grandfather. |
