He was a desciple from Lystra and "the son of a certain woman, which was a Jewess, and believed; but his father was a Greek:". See Acts 19:22 Paul sent him to Macedonia from Ephesus. See Acts 20:4; Rom 16:21. Paul sent him to Corinth too, see 1Cor 4:17. In this verse Paul calls Timothy as "my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord". See 1Cor 16:10. Alias: 2Cor 1:1.
