A desciple of Jesus. "whose surname was Thaddaeus". See Mark 3:18. In the list of the apostles in Luk 6:14-16 there is no mentioning of Lebbaeus or Thaddaeus, but there is a person -called Judas- therefore it is safe to assume that the Judas in this list is in fact Lebbaeus. Also, Luk 6:16 and Acts 1:13 names this Judas as "the brother of James", however other translations name him as a son of James. (Neither "brother" nor "son" is written out in the Greek version).
